I teach in many idyllic settings, all over the country and around the world. But I have long wanted to teach where I actually live, in downtown San Francisco! Once I discovered Sips N Sews, a beautiful sewing workshop with sewing machines and workshop space, (everything but your rotary cutter,) I realized I could offer a class to people who wanted to fly here and not have to bring a machine! We could host a welcoming dinner here at my house. Part of the class could include a little sightseeing trip and a visit to one of our fantastic museums. Attendees could stay either at the nearby Carlton Hotel, a beautiful boutique hotel one-half block from the workshop, or wherever they wish.

For quilters who enjoy physical activity, this is the workshop for you. The upstairs classroom, the afternoon hikes around the city with me, the Pilates/Stretching class with a certified Master Teacher--everything I can offer that will show you how I actually live and work, will keep you from becoming stiff and sore from being hunched over a machine all day. The classroom is open to us until 11PM.
There are only twelve spots available for this workshop. The first twelve people who write to me at Joe@joethequilter.com will receive payment directions.
